One-to-One chats
You can hide a one-on-one conversation by doing the following:
Open the chat
Tap the three dots at the top of the screen
Select the option to hide all messages
This hides the conversation from your inbox, but it doesn’t delete anything, and it doesn’t hide it for the other participant(s).
You can always unhide the conversation again later by tapping the + icon in your inbox, searching for the user, and tapping the option to send a message.
Group chats
If you want to leave and hide a group chat:
Open the group chat
Tap the group name at the top
Tap the three dots at the top
Select the option to leave and hide
This won’t delete your messages, and you won’t be able to rejoin the group unless someone adds you back.
Will others know I’ve hidden or left the chat?
No! We don’t notify anyone when you hide or leave a chat.
