Blocking is a simple and effective way to protect your space on Bump. Whether someone’s bothering you or you just don’t want them to see your location anymore, blocking makes sure they can’t interact with you.

How to block
You can block anyone at any time, even if they haven’t added you as a friend. Here’s how:
Go to your profile of the user you want to block
Tap the three dots in the top-left corner
Select the block option, and confirm
What happens when you block someone
Once you block someone:
They can no longer see your location or profile.
They can’t send you stickers, supersends, or messages.
They won’t see you in gatherings or scratch map recaps.
They are removed from your friends list (if they were a friend).
You will also no longer see them in your map or feed.
You will still be able to see people you’ve blocked in common group chats.
