Verifying your phone number is an important step that keeps your Bump account secure. It confirms it’s really you and helps stop anyone else from getting into your account.
How verification works
Enter your mobile number during sign-up.
You’ll receive a text message with a 6-digit verification code.
Enter the code to confirm.
Verification issues
Some users may have trouble receiving SMS codes due to:
regional carrier delays or restrictions
VPN usage interfering with SMS delivery
poor signal or airplane mode
If you don’t receive the verification code right away:
wait a few minutes and try again
double check your number (including country code) is correct
turn off any VPN and try again
check the spam folder if you're on Android
📝 Bump doesn't currently support backup verification methods like email or a secondary phone number.
