Changing the Phone Number on Your Account

Got a new number and need to update the one linked to your account? No worries, we definitely wouldn’t want you to lose your scratch map 😅

How do I request a phone number change?

Before we make any changes, we’ll need to confirm that the account belongs to you. Just contact us with your:

  • your username

  • your age

  • your current phone number

  • the new phone number you want to use, including the country code

Once you've shared these details, our support team will review your request and update the number for you. You'll hear back once it's done.

A few important things to know

  • A phone number can only be linked to one active account at a time.

  • We’re not able to merge accounts or transfer data between them.

  • If you have more than one account, you’ll need to choose which one you want to keep.

  • If your new phone number is already linked to another account, that account will be deactivated during the change process, and deleted after 30 days.

  • In some cases, we may need a little extra information to verify that the account is yours before we can process the change.
