Some accounts are created or used with the sole or main purpose of causing harm. These accounts violate our values.
What this covers
This applies across the entire app, everyone and everywhere. Some examples: all text and media, including usernames/photos, chat, groups, and links.
What we remove
We permanently remove accounts that are used for:
Posting sexual or pornographic content at scale
Running scams or impersonating others
Harassing or threatening people
Coordinated harmful behavior
Sharing illegal or extremely unsafe content
Any other inappropriate behavior that harms, disrupts, or exploits other users
This list isn’t exhaustive. If something could put people at risk or break this policy, we’ll remove it and take action.
How we take action
We remove the content
We may limit features like chat or visibility
We may temporarily or permanently suspend an account
We may escalate credible threats to appropriate authorities
How to report
If you see content that violates this policy, you can report it directly in the app. We review all reports and take appropriate action to keep Bump safe for everyone.
