Bump should be a place where everyone feels at ease. This policy makes sure harmful or uncomfortable language doesn’t get in the way of that.
What this covers
This applies across the entire app, everyone and everywhere. Some examples: usernames, profile photos, chat, and stickers/supersends.
What we remove
repeated or graphic profanity
crude terms that create a hostile environment
sexualized language
targeted insults using inappropriate language
excessive swearing directed at others
This list isn't exhaustive. If language could create a negative experience or break this policy, we'll take action.
How we take action
We remove the content
We may limit features like chat or visibility
We may temporarily or permanently suspend an account
We may escalate credible threats to appropriate authorities
How to report
If you see content that violates this policy, you can report it directly in the app. We review all reports and take appropriate action to keep Bump safe for everyone.
