If you want to stop sharing your live location with someone, Ghost Mode is the way to go. Ghost Mode lets you hide your live location from a specific friend while keeping everything else in the app working as normal.
How to Use Ghost Mode
Tap your friend’s pin on the map
Tap the ghost icon in the top-right corner
Tap the Bump option to stop sharing your location
That friend will now only see your last shared location. Learn more about Ghost Mode.
What if I turn off location completely?
We don’t recommend it - if you switch off location access in your phone settings, Bump can’t work as it should. You’ll lose features like:
The friend map
Your scratch map
Live updates
